Lelco was established in 1980 and has many outstanding years of experience in the marketing of electrical and mechanical control systems and also lighting products.

Lelco began its journey in lighting as a humble trading company, specializing in lighting design for residential, architectural and commercial applications.

As the market’s demand grows, Lelco decided that it was time to venture into manufacturing, to further expand our scope of business and cater to the market’s demand. In 1998, a new manufacturing facility, located in Jatake, Tangerang, has been added to our group. The brand, which was derived from the word spectrum, was chosen to represent our diversified spectrum of unique, innovative, and exclusive luminaires.

Manufacturing Technology

Spectra is one of the fastest growing brand in the lighting industry in Asia. All Spectra luminaires are manufactured using the latest technologies, ensuring high quality and efficient luminaires that adheres to IEC 60598 standard.

Stretching over 68,000 m2, Lelco’s manufacturing facility is equipped with a complete range of machineries and testing facilities, enabling high quality production and specially engineered designs of luminaires. This factory is run by a trained and committed team of over 600 personnel, fabricating Lelco’s complete product range of architectural, industrial, general and custom designed decorative lighting systems.

Manufacturing with the environment in sight is very important. We are responsible for sustaining the environment for the next generation to come. Lelco ensures that all of its manufacturing processes is environmentally friendly.

Quality Assurance Lelco has been certified according to ISO 9001: Quality Management System, since April 2005. Stringent quality inspections are carried out to ensure that high standards of precision are consistently met at every single process. Every one of Spectra’s assembled product is tested before leaving the plant. All of our products are designed to conform to IEC 60598, to ensure that all safety requirements are considered and built into the product during the design process. ISO 9001 Certificate
